The Research Unit is operated jointly by UdB and the National Scientific Research Center (CNRS) and can count on the Centre for Comparative Labour and Social Security Law, which has a comprehensive expertise in labour law, labour relations, social protection and demographic studies. The Center maintains privileged relations with many key institutions, including the ILO and the European Commission. Priority research themes include conditions and spaces of social citizenship. Hence, the expertise of this Unit encompass the areas of worker’s health, rights of the employees, enterprises and their legal organization.
Dr. Isabelle Daugareilh (CNRS Research Director) is a specialist in international and comparative labour law. Her research topics include the social dimension of economic globalization, corporate social responsibility, due diligence, the social impacts of economic digitalization, international migration and the transformation of work in the factory of the future. Dr. Guillaume Santoro’s (CNRS Research Fellow) main areas of research are collective bargaining, discrimination and professional equality between women and men.
UdB will contribute to the CARE4CARE project by providing a French perspective on all the profiles relevant to the Work Packages (WPs 2,3,4,5,6,7,8).
